[ the Pride Lands wasn't really Roxas's first idea for a visit on his continuing trek across the worlds, but it was one of those he knew how to get to and had vague memories (Sora's memories) of how to get around. so when it came to the time to move on, he figured he might as well stop by and see it with his own eyes.
getting used to being a lion was decidedly weirder than he'd thought it would be. and he'd already thought that it would be pretty weird. still... it'd be good practice for if the community decided to turn them all into animals one day, he thought to himself.
he wasn't really sure why James thought the whole turning-into-a-lion thing was a whole reason in and of itself to want to come hang out here, but that was James for you, he guessed. ]
